Question 1

Do I need to sign up to use the tools?

Accepted Answer

No. Every tool on EraserImg works right away in the browser without login or signup. You only need an account for the API, saving history, or upgrading to a paid plan.

Question 2

How many free requests do I get without an account?

Accepted Answer

Every visitor gets 25 free credits every 12 hours (each request costs 10 tokens out of a 250 token pool). The allowance resets automatically 12 hours after your first use, at no cost.

Question 3

What are "featured services" and why do they have a separate limit?

Accepted Answer

A few premium tools (like Voice Generation) are marked as featured services. These are more expensive to run, so they have their own limit: 5 free tries every 12 hours, separate from your regular 25-credit pool. Once your 5 tries are used, you will see a message with a countdown to the next reset, plus the option to upgrade.

Question 4

Why was I blocked from using a tool?

Accepted Answer

You have either used your 25 free credits for regular tools, or your 5 free tries on a featured service, within the current 12-hour window. A popup will show you exactly when your limit resets, and you can choose to wait or upgrade instead.

Question 5

What do I get with the Starter plan ($5)?

Accepted Answer

Starter gives you 600 requests per day for 7 days: 300 for the regular tools and a separate 300/day pool for featured services (like Voice Generation), no more 5-try cap at this tier.

Question 6

What do I get with the Growth plan ($10)?

Accepted Answer

Growth gives you 1,200 requests per day for 14 days: 600 for the regular tools and 600/day for featured services.

Question 7

What do I get with the Pro plan ($15)?

Accepted Answer

Pro gives you 2,400 requests per day for 30 days: 1,200 for the regular tools and 1,200/day for featured services.

Question 8

What happens when my paid plan ends?

Accepted Answer

Once your plan's validity period is over (1 week for Starter, 2 weeks for Growth, 1 month for Pro), your account automatically returns to the free tier: 25 credits every 12 hours, plus 5 free tries every 12 hours on featured services.

Question 9

Do these limits apply to the API too?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Your API key draws from the same plan as your account, so the daily request numbers above apply whether you use a tool on the website or call it through the API.
